Kupwara, Nov 09 (KNS): The army on Tuesday recovered a Alto vehicle, which skidded off the road and got stuck in trees near BSF Peer Baba in Sarkuli, Kalaroos area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told Kashmir News Service KNS) said that the vehicle from Nunwani was spotted by an Army patrol in the vicinity from Sarkuli, which immediately rushed to the incident site.

“The team with the help of an Army ALS and villagers around recovered the vehicle. There was no injury reported to individual driving the car,” he said.

He said that the villagers were advised to be more cautious especially between Sarkuli and Machhal, which has many hairpin curves.

“The route would be more precarious during forthcoming winters. The locals were also assured that the Indian Army would always be there as first responders for all types of contingencies,” he said. (KNS)
