Uri, Apr 11 (KNS): Army on Wednesday claimed to have rebuilt three houses that got damaged in a militant attack at Kalgai village of Uri Tehsil in Baramulla district.
An inauguration ceremony of Uri Rehabilitation Project was organised by Army under the aegis of Dagger Division at Kalgai village in frontier town Uri in Northern Kashmir Baramulla Distt on Wednesday 11 Apr 2018.
“The aim of this project was to rehabilitate the crippling lives of three families residing in Kalgai village which got completely destroyed in a militant attack on a military camp on 23 Sep 2017 in which four foreign terrorists were eliminated,” Army said according to KNS correspondent, ANdeem Khawaja .Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
It further said that all the neighbouring border villagers, Numberdar and Sarapnch attended this ceremony and by doing so they conveyed a strong message of bonding and brotherhood with the armed forces in a special way. Several noted civil and military dignitaries including Major General Gulab Si also attended the function. (KNS)
