Army provides assistance in recovering vehicle after breakdown in Bandipora main market 

Bandipora, July 17 (KNS): The army on Saturday provided assistance in recovering a Tipper after breakdown in the main market in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district. 

In a statement, a spokesperson said that around 11 am today, a distress call was received by the Bandipora’s 14 RR regarding emergency assistance for recovery of a Tipper which was hindering the traffic and creating problems for locals at Main Market of Bandipora District.

“On receiving this information, the Army  immediately launched its Recovery Team which reached the site within minutes. The technical experts gauged the situation and devised a workable plan while keeping the safety of everyone in mind,” the statement reads.

It reads that the Awaam and Jawaan worked together in perfect synergy and affected the recovery with unparalleled swiftness.
“With this effort of Indian Army the traffic on the road was restored.”

It reads that the event was yet another example of the faith and trust that the Awaam reposes in the Army. “It also sheds a reassuring light on the Army's continued support in every sphere of their lives,” it said. (KNS)
