Army organises Medical camp in Anantnag

 Srinagar, 30 Jan 2020. Army organised a Medical & Health Care Awareness Camp at Khundru, Anantnag, on Thursday under operation SADBHAVANA.

 
It was aimed to extend medical care to locals with focus on ladies, kids and senior citizens of the area who are exposed to the vagaries of inclement weathe, a statement said.  
 
In a statement issued to KNS reads: “ A healing touch was provided by number of doctors which included Medical specialists, Gynaecologist, Surgical specialists, medical officers and Nursing Staff from District Hospital Anantnag and Army fraternity.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
 
 An approximate strength of 250 locals of the area were benefited by the camp. They underwent full body checkups, treatment of multiple burn injuries by Kangri and were given medicines for the ailments.
 
“ It showcased the care, empathy and resolute will of the Indian Army to have healthy and happy Kashmir’s especially kids and elderly. The event is yet another step by IA to strengthen the Awwan Army connect.. The event was appreciated by all present and brought smiles on the faces of locals,” statement reads. (KNS).
