In continuation with its efforts to provide quality health care to the people of remote areas, Army based at Gurez, under the aegis of Chinar Corps, today organised a medical Camp at Tharbal and Baraub.
“The camp aimed at providing medical facilities to the local populace of remote areas at their door steps who otherwise have to travel long distances to avail medical facilities at the designated hospitals.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelLocals of all age groups turned up in large numbers to utilize the medical services. A joint team of Army and Civil doctors provided medical treatment to a total of 974 patients at both the places. Medicines were distributed to the villagers free of cost. Refreshments were also organized for the population who had come from far flung areas,” a defence statement said.
