Army organises medical, veterinary camp in Karnah

Karnah Nov.4 :( KNS) The Army on wednesday organised a medical and veterinary camp at suri area of Karnah north Kashmir's Kupwara district.
According to Kashmir News Service(KNS) as part of operation Sadhbhavana Army, organised a medical check-up and veterinary camp on Wednesday to provided basic health care support to residents of Jada, Kadhama, Phagwan and adjecent farflung villages of Karnah which lacks basic amenities like proper housing, electricity, water supply and medical facilities.
At the Camp a team of Army doctor administrated medical care to over 300 hundred villagers including children and elders and also provided free medication.
The Army veterinarians, with assistance from local veterinarians, treated hundreds of domestic animals including mules, goats, sheeps and cows during the camp and provide free medicines for animals.
during the camp villagers were guided and educated about the best practices for health, hygiene and cold related ailments.
the locals expressed gratitude for the army's initiative. "This is a remote area and due to the change in weather, flu is on the rise, so we are grateful for this medical camp. Army has always been there for us time and again," a local of the Jada village siad while talking to Kashmir news Service (KNS).
