Army unit based at Gurez under the aegis of Chinar Corps organised an educational and motivational tour for the school children of Gurez Valley.
In a statement a defence spokesman said a total of 25 children will be visiting Jaipur and Ajmer from July 25 to August 5. “The tour aims to spread awareness of employment avenues, skill development opportunities and also to expose them to the technical advancements taking place in the country,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“The tour was flagged off from Dawar on 25 July 2105 by the Senior Army Official from Dawar based Army Camp. This initiative taken by the Army was appreciated by the local AWAM present on the occasion. The jubilant participants set off with high spirit for ten days of learning, travel and fun,” he added.
