Pulwama, Feb 21 (KNS): An Army trooper Sunday sustained injuries in the ongoing gunfight erupted between militants and forces on Saturday evening here at Pampore near EDI building.
CRPF Spokesman, Bhavesh Kumar told KNS that one Army personnel sustained injuries in the ongoing gun fight at Pampore.
He said that the injured trooper has been shifted to hospital. “Our nine CRPF personnel who sustained injuries last evening at Pampore are stable. Among the nine troopers, one is critical,” he said.

An army captain, two CRPF troopers and a civilian had died while nine troopers have been injured in the gunfight erupted on Saturday after militants attacked on CRPF convoy coming from Jammu-Srinagar.
The militants after attacking the convoy hid in the EDI building where more than 100 employees were trapped.
SP Awantipora, Muhammad Irshad has said that they safely evacuated all the employees of EDI who were trapped in the five-storey building. (KNS)
