Army helps civilian to get medical aid in Tral

Tral, 3 Jan: (KNS) The effort of army has 'saved' a precious life in Hajin village of Satoora in Aripal Tral, amid heavy snowfall in the area.

Official sources said to KNS, that during heavy snowfall on Sunday, when the roads were blocked due to accumulation of snow, locals of Hajin Village in Tral approached Army COB of 42 RR at Satura to help them in providing medical assistance to a 68 year old individual named Qasim Gurjar of Hajin village who was suffering with severe cardiac pain, breathlessness and high blood pressure.

They said that locals with the assistance of Army firstly organised his evacuation to Satura Army Camp where he was provided with primary Medical Aid.


Reports said that army then organised snow clearing accumulated on the route and evacuated the ailing person to the nearest PHC at Satura in an Army vehicle.

"At PHC the person was administered with necessary life saving drugs. The individual is stable now and we wish him speedy recovery. Timely assistance provided by the Army saved one more precious life in Tral," the official said.(KNS)
