Army Goodwill School, Naugam start Community Classes for students

Handwara April 23 (KNS): The COVID-19 pandemic has affected educational systems worldwide, leading to the near-total closure of schools, universities and colleges. While the benefits of online learning are manifold, there are still many roadblocks in the way ahead towards making education entirely digital (online).

The biggest challenge in online education is to organise classes for young children of primary and pre-primary classes.

In order to ensure no such student misses any classes which may adversely affect their learning potential at such a young age, Army Goodwill School, Naugam has taken an initiative called Community Classes wherein all the teachers of school organise classes for students who are unable to attend the online classes. The learning happens in open spaces/ community halls  as per COVID-19 guidelines.

The parents of the students greatly appreciated the efforts being undertaken by the school staff and the Indian Army in ensuring that no student goes through a 'Learning Void' even during these difficult times.
