Major kalita exhorts upon parents to ensure holistic growth of students

Baramulla, Mar 02 (KNS): The Army on Thursday conducted a tuition classes at four designated schools for more than 500 students from classes IX to XII of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The event was organized in coordination with the District Administration Baramulla.
According to the statement issued to KNS, the defense spokesman said, “Aimed at constructive engagement of the school students during the winter vacations, the four schools at Fatehgarh, Khwajabagh, Fatehpura and Binner in Baramulla division were identified for conduct of tuition classes at Zero- Cost to the students.”
The statement reads that these two months tuition classes were culminated with a glittering AWAM Milan function on Monday at Govt High School, Khwajabagh.
“Attended by District Development Commissioner, Civil Administration Officials, Principals, Teachers and about 500 students from the local schools,” the spokesman added.
Speaking on the occasion, Major General RP Kalita exhorted upon the teachers and parents to ensure holistic growth of the students for all round development of Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While highlighting the focus of State Government towards Education Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash, DDC, Baramulla thanked the teaching faculty for putting in sincere and dedicated efforts in conducting the tuition classes.
Essential stationery items and monetary incentives for Academic Enhancement were also disbursed to the students and the teaching faculty of the designated schools.
Alongwith the tuition classes a Blood Donation Camp was also organised at Chinar 9 Jawan Club Baramulla where in 50 units of blood was donated by the local Youth.
Dr Bashir Chalkoo, CMO Baramulla stressed upon the theme of ‘Donate Blood and Save Life’.
The primary objective of motivating the Youth to focus on their future and associating them with Social causes was well accomplished through these events with the AWAM. (KNS)
