Army conducts Moulvi conclave at Pattan

 Srinagar 14 Feb 2020 (KNS):   A Moulvi Conclave was organised under the aegis of Military Garrison at Haiderbeigh Pattan on Friday in which 70 Moulvis from the adjoining areas of Baramulla, Sopore, Pattan and Tanmarg attended the Programme.

 
In a statement issued to KNS , army said the aim of the conclave was to discuss the social evils and the way ahead to eradicate them.
 
“The conclave started with a Tilawath, which was followed by Nath Sharif and a lecture on the social responsibilities of the Moulvies. Burning issues like spread of Corona Virus, Drug addiction, increased crime rate  were also discussed at length.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIn the end, the audience was addressed by the Commander, Haiderbeigh Sector wherein he appreciated the selfless service of the Moulvies and importance of educating the youth in national building,” statement reads.
 
The event culminated with felicitating the Moulvies. The attendees appreciated the efforts of the Army in organising such events and always standing alongside them like a ‘Humsaya’ on carving a brighter future for the Awaam, statement added. (KNS).
