Pulwama Janury 17 (KNS):: Aripal tehsil in Tral sub district of Pulwama Kashmir has been witnessing  large-scale development for the last few years, as several projects have been taken up, for the welfare of people, while all the basic facilities are being given to them. 

Earlier, people of the area were facing hardships in absence of basic facilities. However, after the intervention of DC Pulwama, ADC Tral and DDC member Aripal, the area witnessed development, as initially 25 KM long road from Tral to Narastan village was macadamized by the R&B & PMGSY departments, while work on Satoora-Hajin patch is also underway. 

Moreover, the PMSGY constructed a road in Lam Zizbal as well, following which locals heaved a sigh of relief, as the road connects Zizbal village with other parts of the sub district via Aripal tehsil. 

The health system was also upgraded in the tehsil, as new type primary health centre building in Aripal stands completed, while health centres in Gulshanpora Gujjar Basti & Satoora were also constructed for public convenience. 

As per the official details, work on several other projects, including Sheep Husbandry Office, Health Centre in Hajan, Yoga Centre in Lurow, & Animal Husbandry Centre in Lam, is underway. 

To boost education system in the area, the govt constructed new building for the High School in Aripal, while construction work for the Govt Middle School in Panzoo Tral is going on. 

Similarly, to upgrade sports infrastructure, several stadiums were constructed, particularly in Batagund, Syedabad and Satoora villages, where youth play cricket on daily basis, with DDC member Manzoor Ganai assuring that playfields would be given to other villages as well, if land is available. 

For dozens of villages in Aripal, a power receiving station has also been sanctioned, which is being constructed, while dozens of electric transformers(46) were installed to mitigate power crisis in the tehsil. 

Most importantly, the Aripal and Narasatan areas were declared 'Tourist Destinations' recently, bringing smile on the faces of locals, with people demanding inclusion of Nagaberan on tourist map. 

Meanwhile, the people of the area thanked Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary, ADC Tral, S.A. Raina and DDC member, Aripal, Manzoor Ganai for ensuring development in the Aripal tehsil. 

They said that Panchayati Raj has literally changed the Aripal Tehsil, particularly with the efforts of its young DDC member, Manzoor Ahmad Ganai.(KNS)
