In his message, extending hearty greetings to people while observing that Laylatul Qadr, Night of Power, holds a very important place in Islam wherein Almighty Allah revealed the Quran to his beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

 

Reacting to closure of Jamia Masjid, Liagroo said that it's the direct interference in religious affairs. 

 

Barring people on eve of Shab e Qadar, is unfortunate and exposes the tall claims of government. 

 

The Shab-e-Qadar provides us the best opportunity to seek mercy and forgiveness on this sacred night, shutting down of Jamia Masjid on eve is highly deplorable, he said. 

 

Liagroo further added that the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr will usher in an era peace and overall development across Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
