Srinagar, Apr 01(KNS) : Expressing deep solidarity with the affected families, former PDP State Secretary and Constituency Incharge Habba Kadal, Arif Laigroo, on Tuesday visited the site of a devastating fire incident in Chandpora, Habba Kadal, where four residential houses were completely gutted.
Terming the incident as tragic and heartbreaking, Mr. Laigroo stated that the affected families have suffered immense losses, leaving them in distress after losing their homes and belongings. He also expressed concern over the injuries sustained by two fire service personnel—Mustaq Ahmed and Fahmeed Ahmed—who were injured while bravely performing their duty during the firefighting operation.

Mr. Laigroo appealed to the district administration to provide immediate relief and rehabilitation to the affected families. He further urged the authorities to ensure proper compensation and medical assistance for the injured firemen in recognition of their service and sacrifice.
