Srinagar, Apr 09 (KNS): While condemning the assault on Kashmir students outside the state, All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC), chairman, Jag Mohan Singh Raina Saturday appealed separatist leaders to withdraw the shutdown call on 12th in view of Baisakhi festival.
Raina told KNS that harassment and assaults on Kashmir students outside the state is intolerable and such acts should be probed thoroughly ‘Kashmiri students are being targeted unnecessarily outside the state. Such acts should be stopped soon,’ he said.
Appealing separatist leaders to withdraw the shutdown on Tuesday in view of Baisakhi festival, Raina said, ‘I appeal separatist leaders to withdraw the shutdown call keeping in view Baisakhi festival on April 13.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel’
He said that for Sikh community, April 12 will be celebrated as ‘Arfa’ and if the Valley will observe shutdown on that day then they will face tremendous hardships. ‘We (Sikh) community who will always stand for Kashmir cause and such kind of rising incidents appeal separatist leaders to withdraw the given call for the celebration of festival,’ he said.
