Srinagar, June 18 (KNS) : In a significant political development, prominent political activist and contractor Naseer Mir, former Municipal Committee Chairman Basharat Hussain Najar, and political activist Rashid Ashna joined the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party during a function held in Srinagar on Wednesday. They were accompanied by a large number of supporters from Bandipora.
 
 
The leaders were warmly welcomed into the party fold by senior Apni Party functionaries, who described the joining as a major boost to the party's grassroots presence in North Kashmir.
 
 
Speaking on the occasion, Naseer Mir said he chose to join the Apni Party because it provides an opportunity for common people to actively participate in politics. He criticised dynastic politics and stated that the Apni Party offers a platform where every individual gets a fair chance to express their views and contribute to public service.

Former MC Chairman Basharat Hussain Najar said the prevailing political situation in Jammu and Kashmir requires sincere efforts and practical solutions. He expressed confidence that the Apni Party can play a constructive role in addressing public concerns and steering the region towards progress and stability.
 
 
He said he joined the party with the belief that its vision and constitution provide a meaningful roadmap for serving the people and addressing the challenges faced by Jammu and Kashmir.
 
 
The joining of these leaders, along with several supporters from Bandipora, is being viewed as a notable political development in the district ahead of future political engagements. (KNS)
