Apni Party pays floral tributes to Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary

JAMMU, APRIL 14:(KNS)   Apni Party today paid rich tributes to Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Ji on his 132 birth anniversary here at the Party Office in Gandhi Nagar.
 
The party leaders offered floral tributes to the Bharat Rattan Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
In his address, Vijay Bakaya said that “Today is the birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar sahab. He was the one of the tawering leader of India who was born in a Dalit family. The during that period of time atrocities on Dalits had an adverse psychological impact on Dr Bhim Rao sahab and therefore, he started working for the welfare and upliftment of the marginalized section of the society being a prominent leader and legal luminary.”
As a politician of the country, he said that “In first cabinet, he was the first Law Minister of the Govt of India and he was also the chairman of the Constitution Draft Committee and the draft report was completed in 1949 and it was implemented in 26th January, 1950.”
 
He had a great contribution in the constitution which kept the basic rights strongest in the constitution of the country due to the efforts of Dr Ambedkar.
He said that “It is due to his contribution he is remembered every year for his fight for the nation and granting constitutional rights to the people of the country.”
Meanwhile, State General Secretary Vikram Malhotra also spoke on the occasion and remembered Baba Sahab as a great reformist in the country who worked for the neglected class of society and granted protection of their rights under the constitution of the country.
He said that the marginalized sections of the society have protection of the constitution and they have all rights like other fellow countrymen to be provided equal treatment under the law because of the hardwork and dedication of Baba Sahab Bhim Rao Ambedkar saheb.
Similarly, Provincial President, Jammu Manjit Singh also offered floral tributes to mark the birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar sahab.
 
He said that the Dalits in J&K like rest of the parts in the country have been enjoying equal rights and any exploitation and discrmination with them is a punishable offence under the law only because of Bhim Rao sahab.
“Apni Party also has a similar approach towards the marginalized section of society to protect their constitutional rights and provide them equal opportunity in social, political, economic and social fields,” he said.
Meanwhile, President Women Wing, Namrta Sharma also highlighted the issues being faced by the marginalized section of society in pre-independent India and with the struggle of Bhim Rao sahab, the atrocities against the Dalits in the country were reduced and the guilty persons were booked. Hence, the incidents of discriminations declined gradually.
