Srinagar June 30:(KNS)  Apni Party Anantnag organized a district level meeting at Dakbanglow-Khanabal which was presided over by the District President Abdul Rahim Rather.

 

Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir also graced the meeting with his presence for a brief time.

 

On the occasion, Chairman BDC Sagam Mohammad Tahir Famda and Chairman BDC Bijbehara Ghulam Ahmad Dar, General Secretary Panchayat Conference Anantnag and Sarpanch Akingam Nana Ji Wattal along with various Sarpanchs and Panchs joined Apni Party

 

In the address, Abdur Rahim Rather elucidated on the objectives and stand of the Party. He said that the party and its leadership will never flicker or digress from its basic objectives.

 

"Over a year has sped by and now we find other regional parties of the state have come in line with what we initiated soon after the formation of our Party"

 

The District President emphasised that the participants must gear up their activities to reach to every nook and corner of the district and try to resolve the public grievances.

 

He also impressed upon the party workers to speed-up the process of membership drive in the district.

 

Furthermore, he appreciated the role played by the Party President in the recently held meeting of the J&K leaders with the Prime Minister and Home Minister of the country.

 

Besides District President, Provincial Secretary Nazir Ahmad Dailgami, President Municipal Council Anantnag Hilal Ahmad Shah, District Secretary Tariq Ahmad Veeri, Bashir Ahmad Wani-Doru, Choudhary Abdul Hamid Chara Chairman BDC Chittergul, Anis-ul-Islam District President Youth, Advocate Raja Showkat District Secretary Youth, BDC Chairperson Block Kokernag Parveena Akhter, Chairman BDC Dachnipora Bashir Ahmad Khan, Abdul Hamid Bhat Doru, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Shabnum, Ghulam Hassan Dar Ex Chairman MC Anantnag, Ghulam Mohi-ud- Din Rather were also present in the meeting.(KNS)
