Apni Party demands more sanitation staff during Amarnath Yatra

 Jammu, June 08(KNS): Apni Party leaders today called on Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor, Rajinder Sharma at his office to discuss issues of public concern.

The Apni Party leaders including District Vice President, Jammu Urban, Vaibhav Mattoo, and Provincial Secretary Vishal Jotshi met the JMC Mayor and discussed the public issues in municipal wards.

 

During the discussion, the leaders requested the Mayor to depute more sanitation staff during the upcoming Amarnath Yatra in Jammu to ensure cleanliness.

 

They said that “The Corporation must depute more workers in the wards and especially in areas where the Amarnath Yatris would stay and visit the markets. The yatris are our ambassadors and they carry forward the image of Jammu that needs to be improved with the way of ensuring cleanliness and addressing parking issues.

 

On listening to them patiently, the Mayor assured them that he would look into the issues.(KNS).
