Apni Party demands JK Bank business units at Nowpora-Wagoora & Sultanpora Kandi

Srinagar, February 03 (KNS): Apni Party District President Baramulla Shoaib Lone on Wednesday demanded establishment of Jammu and Kashmir bank units at Nowpora-Wagoora and Sultanpora-Kandi of district Baramulla.

As per the statement issued to KNS, Expressing serious concern over the sufferings of locals including the businessmen and traders of Sangrama constituency, Lone said that there exists a dire need and scope for setting up of new business units JK bank in Wagoora and Sultanpora areas so as to provide the relief to the people.

‘The people of Nowpora and Sultanpora Kandi have to suffer a lot due to unavailability of J&K Bank branches near to their respective vicinities. People have to travel miles to reach centrally located bank branches even during this harsh winter,’ he remarked.

Lone said that establishing new branches will prove supportive for many locals affiliated with the bank and facilitate the swift functioning of the bank operations as well.

“I hope that the J&K bank authorities will consider this genuine demand of the locals and will address their grievances at earliest. The setting up of new branches in these areas will foster a positive change that will be equally beneficial for the locals and the J&K bank,” he concluded. (KNS)
