Srinagar, June 15:(KNS) All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has paid rich tribute to the leading journalist and intellectual of Jammu and Kashmir, the founder and former Editor-in-Chief of daily Rising Kashmir Dr Syed Shujat Bukhari on his 3rd death anniversary.

In a statement ,APHC said that late Shujat Bukhari was a journalist of great courage who through his writings penned down what he believed in without fear or favour. His journalism was impartial and factual based on principles while upholding journalistic ethics. He was a great well wisher of his people who wanted to see an end to people’s suffering and believed this was possible by peaceful resolution of the Kashmir conflict in keeping with the people’s will. 

APHC on behalf of its leadership especially the incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has prayed for highest place in Jannah for late Dr Syed Shujaat Bukhari. (KNS)
