APHC expresses regret over LG admin’s order of denying passports to people involved in subversive activities

Srinagar, Aug 2 (KNS): All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed regret and concern over LG led administration's order of not issuing passports and denial of jobs to people involved in subversive activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

APHC in a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that after the unilateral decision taken by the Government of India on August 5, 2019 regarding Jammu and Kashmir, such laws are being continuously enforced here which are not only anti-Kashmir but also undemocratic.

“After the forcible dismissal of dozens of government employees in the last few weeks, now a policy of not issuing passports and denying government jobs to youth under the garb of  being ‘stone pelters’ or ‘anti-national’, is being enforced.”

APHC said Kashmiri people are well aware what these coercive and anti-people policies by the  government are aimed to achieve.

APHC said those in charge should rethink on their repressive strategy and withdraw such diktats that will only lead to further resentment. (KNS)
