Bandipora, Jan 18 (KNS): It is not a filmily show, but District Hospital Bandipora, which continues to be in news for its wrong reasons from time to time.
In a shocker, in District Hospital Bandipora where number of enquires are yet Pending, Another Major Scam Surfaced, where BMO Dr Masrat Iqbal Made several Illegal Appointments. 
After a Gap of one Month of Attachment of CMO Bandipora Dr Bilkes, BMO Bandipora Dr Masrat Iqbal Attached by Director Health Kashmir Following the Embezzlement in Funds and Fraud.
This is Third BMO which has been Attached in less than 10 Months Following the Embezzlement of Funds in District Hospital Bandipora.
Earlier Former BMO Dr Mushtaq and CMO Bandipora Dr Bilkes had been attached for the same activities.
As per the documents which is available with KNS, BMO Bandipora Dr Masrat Iqbal has Made Number of Illegal Appointments and withdrew the amount of 30000/ on account of the Salary out of HDF without the Approval of Concerned MLA Bandipora. 
Documents Revealed that incharge BMO has diverted Rs. 50168 from HDF to Shaheen Service Station Nadihal Bandipora at his own Level without the Approval of MLA Bandipora.
Document Further Revealed that incharge BMO was Using Hospital Ambulance to his Residence Goshbug Pattan and was Plying 120KM to and pro per day For which he has Consumed Fuel Worth 1.5Lakh during his Posting as Incharge BMO Bandipora.
As per Documents BMO was Attached after Local MLA Bandipora Usman Majid has Directed to take up the Matter with Director Health Services Kashmir for the Recovery of Amount worth 1.85 Lakh from Incharge BMO Bandipora  Dr Masrat Iqbal who is Currently Attached with Director Health Services Kashmir.
Earlier Number of Officials Including CMO and Two BMO's has Been Attached by Director Health Services Kashmir who were Found Involved in Many Frauds Exposed by Different Outlets of Media.

Due to this hue and Cry among the Masses, Work at CMO office Bandipora is badly hampered and the Common masses are suffering badly Where CMO office Often Remain Locked as per Eyewitnesses. 
People have raised eye brows against the Health officials for their huge emblezement in pouring the huge fund to their homes due to which Common masses Suffering.
As, Nepotism ruins the health department in Bandipora, with in Short Spam of time number BMO's  were either attached or suspended by the higher ups following the Embezzlement in Department. 
Due to number of Embezzlement in the health Department Common masses are Suffering with Each passing day, as these incident reported from time-to-time about the hassles and woes the people are facing in the said district but to no avail.
It is  mentioned here that, the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) has attached CMO Bandipora Dr Bilkes for alleged misappropriation of funds for blood bank in the district hospital Bandipora.
On the Otherhand People alleged that Favoritism and Polticial influence has badly affected the functioning of Health System in Bandipora. 
Like many other government hospitals Bandipora hospital is an epitome of corruption. Patients often have to wait in endless queues for an appointment Patients said.
We prefer private clinics over government hospitals Mostly as
patients don’t get individual attention. because we don’t get the same quality of treatment in government hospitals which we Get in Clinics.
As, the woes of people are increasing with each passing day, People have appealed the Health Minister Bali Baghat and the CM, Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and put an end to the People's Suffering. (KNS)
