Bandipora, February 02: (KNS) The department of Rural Development on Wednesday discussed annual action plan under MGNREGA with the District Development Council Bandipora.

Assistant Commissioner Development Abdul Rashid Dass held a meeting with all other DDC members of the District Bandipora including District Development Council Chairman Abdul Gani Bhat.

In the said meeting Annual action under MGNREGA plan was thoroughly discussed with all the DDC members, wherein they were requested to overview the Plan submitted by BDO's duly vetted by sarpanches and BDCs.

The DDC chairman along with all DDC members expressed satisfaction in the shelf of Projects projected under MGNREGA for FY 2022-23 and the approved the same.

In the said meeting issues regarding PmAY, labour budget, rationalisation of expenditure in all the blocks as per the procedure norms were also discussed. ACD Bandipora assured them that all points will be taken up in considerations in Coming FY & assured them full support regarding the same.

Further installation of solar lights & fixation of prices were also discussed and the same was approved with the mutual consent of all DDC members. 

Moreover issues related to administration & Cooperation of employees in rendering the services at panchayat level was also discussed, ACD Bandipora redressed them on spot and ensured them full support.

ACD assured them that directions ll be passed to all the field functionaries to work in close & peaceful coordination with PRIs/BDCs /DDCs and general public at large for the welfare and upliftment of rural infrastructure.

ACD Bandipora further enlightens the respected DDC members that 3 tier panchayati System will be strengthened at gross root level. The meeting ended on a positive note as ACD Bandipora assured that, on the 5th of every month, a review meeting will be held with all the DDCs, so that there will be checks & balances.(KNS)
