No justification for India to celebrate January 26 celebrations in Kashmir: Aga Hassan

Budgam, Jan 25 (KNS): Anjuman Shari Shian president and senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi Friday said that India has no right to celebrate its Republic Day in Kashmir as it has resorted to atrocities and let loose a reign of terror across Kashmir Valley.
In a statement issued to KNS, Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi said India claims to be a large democracy in the world but virtually stands exposed in Kashmir where it has been trampling all basic and fundamental rights for last over seven decades.
He said the very existence of this kind of ruthless state-craft has resulted in gross violations of human rights in every nook and corner of Kashmir.

This, he said, has left thousands of Kashmiris maimed, disabled, blind and half dead.
“We have no animosity with India or its people and they have every right to celebrate their Republic Day within its states, but despite their rhetoric about democracy they have no moral and legal right to celebrate it in the internationally recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Anjumane Sharie Shian J and K organized Majlise Aza at Yagipora Magam in which thousands of devotees participated. While addressing, Aga Hassan described the role and character of Syeda Fatima (a.s). (KNS)
