Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam condoles demise of Nooruddin Khan & spouse of Late Ali Muhammad Wani

Srinagar, March 29 (KNS) : Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of its former member and a close friend of the Mirwaiz family, Nooruddin Khan of Bohri Kadal, now residing at Peerbagh, Srinagar.


In a statement, the Anjuman on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq paid rich tribute to Nooruddin Khan Sahib for his selfless services to the institution and society.

Nooruddin Khan Sahib’s illustrious father, Late Ghulam Muhammad Khan, also known as Gul Khan, had a very close relationship with the former president of the Anjuman, Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq, and he used to organise Dastarbandi of the late Mirwaiz and used to take the lead in organising the late Mirwaiz’s programmes and sermons across the valley.

Terming Nooruddin Khan Sahib as a very sincere, honourable and dignified personality, the Anjuman expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the deceased's son Rauf Ahmed Khan and other members of the family over the demise and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, the Anjuman also expressed grief over the demise of the spouse of another friend of the Mirwaiz family and a leading businessman Late Ali Muhammad Wani (Hardware), a resident of Hyderpora. The deceased was the sister of Shaheed S Hameed. The Anjuman paid tribute to the deceased and prayed to Almighty Allah for Jannat al-Firdous to the departed soul and patience and courage for the bereaved family members.(KNS)
