Srinagar, Dec 28 (KNS): With an aim of enriching and uplifting the society educationally and preserving the cultural and traditional history, Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam, has come up with a state of art Library situated in the heart of the Leh Town, in the name and style of Himalayan Muslim Learning and Information Centre-Leh.
In a statement to KNS a spokesperson of the organisation said the Library will be open for general public residing in or travelling through Ladakh irrespective of any caste, creed, colour and religion with unimpeded access to all the available material.
“It is in this connection we at Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam request, you to provide to us with charitable purpose all the books and other materials relating to history, religion, culture, literature etc.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelEspecially concerning the Kashmir, Tibet, Ladakh, Central Asia, Gilgit, Skardu and China along with all the Silk Route Countries,” he appealed.
“Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam is a society registered under, Jammu and Kashmir Societies Registration Act, 1998, providing services of charitable nature with sole purpose of uplifting the society educationally, socially and economically,” the spokesperson added. (KNS)
