Srinagar, AprIL 13 (KNS): Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam has expressed deep grief over the demise of the wife of prominent social leader, Kashmiri poet, writer and intellectual, Zareef Ahmad Zareef.

Anjuman in a statement issued to kashmir news service (KNS) expressed heartfelt condolence and solidarity with Zareef Ahmad Zareef over the irreparable loss of his life partner.

The statement said that Zareef Ahmad Zareef was not only an alumni of Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam and Islamia School but also has had a deep devotion and unique relationship with the Anjuman and the Mirwaiz Family.

Zareef Ahmad Zareef is also counted among the close friends and well-wishers of Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulana Muhammad Farooq (RA), the Anjuman said.

Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam on behalf of the institution and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has expressed condolence and solidarity with Zareef Ahmad Zareef and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to the deceased and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam also expressed condolence over the demise of the wife of a senior journalist Shuja Kashmiri and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.(KNS)
