Anjuman condoles demise of Haji Mir Bashir Ahmad Kanth.

Srinagar, May 15 (KNS): Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar has expressed grief over the demise of leading religious personality and prominent social activist Haji Mir Bashir Ahmad Kanth. 

Anjuman in a statement paid rich tribute to the deceased for his contribution towards society. 

While expressing condolence with the bereaved family, Anjuman said that Haji Bashir Ahmad Kanth was in the forefront and actively involved in resolving the social, religious and milli issues faced by our society.

Anjuman on its behalf and on  behalf of its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq expressed condolence with the bereaved Khand family especially the deceased's son Aijaz Ahmad Kanth, brother Muhammad Tahir Kanth and Iqbal Kanth 

Terming the demise of Haji Mir Bashir Ahmad as a big loss for the social and religious circles of Kashmir, the Anjam prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family. 

Meanwhile, the Anjuman also expressed grief over the demise of Aftab Ahmad Baqal, the owner of Read and Write book shop of Budshah Chowk, Lal Chowk. It expressed condolence with the bereaved family and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.(KNS)
