Jammu , Nov 9 (KNS) : Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board & Minister of State Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi attended the 120th Annual Function of Faridia Educational Institute at Kishtwar as the Chief Guest.
According to a press release issued, She was accompanied by many prominent government officers and local eminent persons. Many cultural demonstrative activities, including the annual felicitations, were part of the grand event. Dr Andrabi was accorded a very warm welcome by the school faculty and students on her arrival.
Dr Darakhshan Andrabi addressed the gathering and hailed the achievements of the Institute during the past three years. While congratulating the faculty, administration, and the students for academic excellence and overall educational enhancement, Andrabi emphasized the promotion of an environment of innovation and skill development among the students so that they are able to compete at global levels.

The Waqf Chairperson said that the Waqf educational system has transformed a lot during these three years and is in tune with the National Education Policy. "Religious, cultural, and modern education are given equal importance in our schools, which has benefited the students a lot. Our board results are exemplary. We are committed to producing future leaders for different sectors of life from our educational institutions," said Andrabi.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar Mohammad Idrees Lone, Bar Association President Sheikh Naasir Hussain, Waqf Executive Officer Kishtwar Firdaus Ahmad Bhavani, Principal of the Institute Mehboob Ahmad Qazi, and other officers of the district administration were present on the occasion.(KNS)
