Srinagar, Jan 31 (KNS): Awami National Conference (NC) senior Vice President, Muzaffar Shah has moved a resolution, seeking withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Power Acts (AFSPA) from Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the statement issued to KNS, Shah moved the resolution at Indian Nationalists Movement Convention at Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The ANC thanked the representatives of TRF, CPI, CPM, All India students federation, Mohim Al Shoba, AAP, Welfare party of India, AP State Congress, Jamietul Alhadees and scores of grassroots organisations for unanimously adopting the resolution seeking withdrawal of AFSA from the state.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
ANC demanded withdrawal of AFSPA, dismissal of state government that failed to contain law & order and communal rioting.
The party also demanded ban on corporate funding to political parties and peaceful solution to the vexed Kashmir problem at the Hyderabad convention of INAM on Jan 30th.
The statement further reads that the ANC will host the Kashmir session of INAM. (KNS)
