Rare Image of M.K Gandhi with Begum Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah and Begum Khalida Shah Resurfaces from ANC Archives
Srinagar, Oct 2 (KNS): J&K Awami National Conference on Thursday paid rich tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his birth anniversary.
The party recalled his enduring message of peace, truth, and non-violence, describing him as an eternal source of inspiration for generations.
The ANC also highlighted a rare archival photograph from Gandhi’s only visit to Kashmir in 1947. Leaders of the ANC reiterated that Gandhi’s ideals remain relevant in today’s times of political uncertainty, right wing dominance and social divides.
