Srinagar, Mar 16 (KNS): Awami National Conference (ANC) President Begum Khalida Shah on Monday endorsed the call of “joint effort” by NC President Dr Farooq Abdullah who sought unison by all political parties to get Kashmiris released from jails in and outside Kashmir.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Begum Khalida Shah said “I whole heartedly support the call given by NC President Dr Farooq Abdullah about the release of all political detainees who are languishing in and outside jails of J&K”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
She also said, “All political parties should get united to find ways and means for the release of political prisoners and future course of action should be drafted without any delay in this regard”.
She added not only mainstream political leaders detained after abrogation of Article 370, we should raise voice for all belongs from civil society, religious bodies and those who have been allegedly booked under “stone throwing” charges. (KNS)
