Srinagar, Jun 08 (KNS): Senior vice President Awami National Conference Muzaffar Shah has condemned the removal of JK Bank Chairman Parvez Ahmad by the governor administration and the subsequent vigilance raids.

Shah said that JK Bank is a autonomous financial institution and the swift removal of the former chairman, who has done so well for the bank, is an attack on its autonomy.

Shah appealed the political parties, trader bodies and civil society of the state to raise voice against such gross decisions of the governor administration.

"We will come out with a joint action with civil society and trade bodies against such a decision," he said. (KNS)
