Anantnag, 5 June (KNS): Director General Youth Services and Sports, Dr . Saleem ur Rehman today said Anantnag will get Astro turf soon for national and international sports events.

 He told reporters during his visit to Nowgam Shangus Anantnag Playing Field which is being to upgraded to a full Stadium .

He impressed upon district youth Services and Sports officer Anantnag to frame new estimates for different indoor and outdoor sports that can be made available for the players hailing from rural areas on this ground. 

 He appreciated the skills and talent of employees of Sports department and health and family welfare for doing their work with intrested and dedication in challenging covid times.

Dr Saleem was accompanied by Joint Director Sports Kashmir, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Anantnag , Chief Accounts Oficer Youth Services and Sports Kashmir and officials of Directorate and other allied Offices. (KNS)
