Anantnag April 4 (KNS): Anantnag Police today arrested a person along with 400 grams of Charas.

In a statement issued to KNS, police said, "Continuing its drive against drug menace in District  Anantnag, today on a  specific information Police Party from Police Station Anantnag along with IC Police Post  Genral Bus Stand established a Naka at Khanbal.

During Naka checking one person namely Aasif Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat Resident of Seepan Khanbal was arrested along with 400 grams of Charas."

 A Case FIR No. 70/202 section 8/20 NDPS Act have been registered in Police Station Anantnag and investigation has been taken up.,it said.

Anantnag Police appeals the people of the District to come forward with the information regarding anti-social elements in their vicinity.(KNS)
