Jammu, Feb 5 (KNS): PDP MLA Waheed Para on Thursday said Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir should be used as an opportunity to promote development and address the concerns of the youth in the Union Territory.
Commenting on the home minister’s visit, Para said sustained engagement was needed to heal what he described as the wounds of young people affected by years of conflict and uncertainty.
He said measures aimed at employment, dignity and political outreach were essential to restore confidence among young people in the region.
Para said the visit should go beyond official reviews and translate into concrete steps that address the aspirations of the youth and ensure inclusive development.(KNS).
