Srinagar, Sep 28 (KNS): The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) government of India has ordered the appointment of DIG Central Kashmir Amit Kumar as DIG National Investigation Agency (NIA) on deputation basis.

As per the details available with Kashmir News Service (KNS), the competent authority approved the appointment of Amit Kumar to the post of DIG, NIA (Level-13A in the pay matrix) on deputation basis for an initial period of 5 years from the date of joining the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

The concerned authorities have been asked to relieve Kumar immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre. (KNS)
