BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 21 (KNS): Amir Choudhary today assumed the charge of SDM Sumbal taking over from Bashir Ahmad Lone who has been transferred and posted as GM DIC Kulgam. 

Sub Divisional Administration led by Tehsildar Sumbal, Zeeshan Tahir along with Patwar Association Sumbal gave a warm farewell to outgoing Bashir Ahmad Lone and also presented a warm welcome to incumbent SDM Sumbal, Amir Chowdhury.

Tehsildar Sumbal appreciated the sincerity, honesty and people-friendly attitude of Bashir Ahmad Lone. He said that Bashir Ahmad always tried to take the Administration closer to the people in order to deliver better services to the people.

On the occasion, interaction of Bashir Ahmad Lone with sub division staff, Trade Union Sumbal, Numberdars, Chowkidars, and the general public, created an emotional atmosphere that demonstrated how much he was loved and respected by all.(KNS)
