Srinagar, June 30 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said that the administration and the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board have made significantly improved arrangements for this year’s Amarnath Yatra.
He said that security agencies have also worked in close coordination to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage for devotees.
Speaking after a high-level review meeting at Sonamarg, LG Sinha said, “All senior officers from various departments and security agencies were present in the meeting. I have closely observed the arrangements of the past four Yatras, and I can confidently say that this year’s preparations are much better.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
He praised the joint efforts of the civil administration and security forces for the strict and well-coordinated security setup. “The security forces have made very strong arrangements this time, ensuring full coordination with each other,” he said.
Expressing optimism about the upcoming pilgrimage, LG Sinha added, “I hope people will be able to undertake the Yatra more successfully than in previous years. Devotees coming from across the country will return with an even better experience.”(KNS)
