Srinagar, Jun 15 (KNS): Congress leader Altaf Malik on Saturday demanded adequate compensation to hailstorm and other natural disastrous effected fruit growers and farmers of Rafiabad and other areas of north Kashmir and urged upon the governor administration to promote and upgrade the horticulture sector which is backbone of state's economy thus provides employment to thousands of people who are directly or indirectly involved with this sector.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

In a statement issued to KNS, Altaf also stressed to waive off KCC loans taken by the growers and farmers from different banks and implement crop insurance scheme which is not only demand of orchardists farmers but is need of an hour so the natural disastrous hit people will be compensate properly.
