Srinagar, June 21 (KNS): Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari on Sunday extended his best wishes to students appearing for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination and expressed hope that the test would be conducted in a fair, transparent and smooth manner.
In a statement, Bukhari said students had endured anxiety and trauma following the cancellation of the earlier examination held on May 3 amid allegations of paper leaks in multiple states.
"Best wishes to all those appearing for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination today across the nation," he said.
"I hope this re-examination is conducted in a fair, transparent, and smooth manner so that merit and hard work are rewarded," he said.
The Apni Party chief said his prayers and best wishes were with every student appearing for the examination, especially those from Jammu and Kashmir.
He expressed hope that the candidates would perform well and secure admission to institutions of their choice.(KNS).
