Apni Party President urges LG Admin to provide compensation to the sufferers

Srinagar May 19 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday expressed his deep sorrow over the fire incident at Lati Mohalla inside Dal Lake Srinagar, wherein five residential houses were burnt after they caught fire on Wednesday evening.
Bukhari, on Thursday Morning, visited the spot and meet the victim families. After meeting the families and taking stock of the situation, the Apni Party leader expressed his deep grief over the loss in this fire incident.
Bukhari offered the help of Rs 20,000 to each of the 11 affected families on behalf of the Jammu Kashmir Apni Party. Also, he gave Rs 30,000, in addition, to one of the families who have a member grappling with a life-threatening disease.
Apni Party president urged the LG administration to announce compensation to the fire victims so that they could rebuild their houses. He said, “it takes common man many years and sometimes a complete lifetime to build a house, however, such an unfortunate incident all of the sudden ruins everything to the ashes. My heart goes out to the families who lived their entire lives in these houses, and suddenly they have lost everything to fire.”
Talking to the people on the spot Apni Party president said that as a vibrant society every one of us ought to stand with the affected families to help them out from this tragedy. People must come forward to ensure that those who lost their properties in the fire incident be able to rebuild their houses.
