Altaf Bukhari meets LG Manoj Sinha, demands roll back of Sro 103

Srinagar, Jan 15 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party Chief Muhammad Altaf Bukhari today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Jammu and demanded  the issue of Seo-103 besides airlifting the supplies of essential commodities to Kashmir in view of national Highway blockade.

Speaking to KNS after meeting with Lieutenant Governor in Jammu, Bukhari said, " I raised the issue of SRO-103 that has unjustifiably reduced the age bar for civil services aspirants by five years & termed the new rules “arbitrary” in nature and demanded immediate rollback of SRO-103."

I informed  LG that  the implementation of this SRO will not only impede the participation of those KAS aspirants who have crossed the age limit of 32 but also add to the rising levels of frustration among the unemployed youth in J&K, he told KNS.

It will be sheer injustice with aspirants who for the past five years have toiled hard to participate in the upcoming KAS-2021 exam, he added.

I hope Lt Governor ManojSinha will address the genuine grievances of the civil services aspirants of J&K by repealing SRO-103, he said.

He also demanded expediting the investigation of Hokarsar encounter so that truth comes to fore.

He also said that he discussed the issue of trust deficit between Govt and politicians and demanded sincerity from both sides.

Bukhari also informed KNS that he sought enquiry into the vandalisation of highway on the name of upgradation and sought enquiry against the concerned engineers.

" It is pathetic that highway remains shut for 28 days in a month."

He also impressed on LG to use airforce aircrafts to lift essential commodities to Kashmir from Jammu.

He also raised the issue of slow pace of developmental works and demanded pacing up these works (KNS).
