Srinagar, Feb 26 (KNS): Former Minister Altaf Bukhari led group have decided to launch a political party in first week of March.
Altaf Bukhari confirmed the development to KNS and said constitutional committee has also finalized its draft report.
Earlier the group had formed a six member committee comprising of Muhammad Dilawar Mir, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Raja Manzoor, Javid Hassan Beigh, Choudhary Qamar Hassan, Rafi Mir.
They are submitting draft of constitution to core committee on Thursday in Jammu.
He reiterated that agenda of the party would be restoration of statehood, safeguarding jobs and land rights for locals, restoration of autonomy of J&K bank, Revival of agriculture, horticulture, and tourism sector.

“We welcome any person who is interested in welfare and development of J&K is welcome,” he said.
When asked about the earlier associations of leaders with different political parties, he said, “Everyone is starting a new journey,” he said.
“We expect people to join us in this new journey so that J&K is moved out of darkness. We expect people to show maturity as they showed after tragedy of abrogation of article 370,” he said.
Bukhari also clarified that they are not power hungry. “Before elections, delimitation will happen, and then who knows when elections will happen after that,” he told KNS.
He also demanded immediate release of all political leaders including former Chief Ministers. (KNS)
