Srinagar, February 1 (KNS): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, on Thursday, expressed grief over the passing away of the mother of Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, the incumbent Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir. She passed away at a hospital in Jammu this evening. The deceased was the widow of the Late Mufti Bashir-ud-Din, who previously held the esteemed position of the Grand Mufti (Mufti Azam)  in Jammu and Kashmir.

May Allah rest her soul in Janat ul Firdous.”

“In this hour of grief, I stand in solidarity with Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam Sahib and the other members of the bereaved family. May Almighty Allah grant them patience to bear the pain of this irreparable loss,” he added.(KNS)
