Srinagar, February 1 (KNS): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, on Thursday, expressed grief over the passing away of the mother of Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, the incumbent Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir. She passed away at a hospital in Jammu this evening. The deceased was the widow of the Late Mufti Bashir-ud-Din, who previously held the esteemed position of the Grand Mufti (Mufti Azam)  in Jammu and Kashmir.

In his condolence message, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “I extend my heartfelt condolences to Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam over the passing of his beloved mother. May Allah rest her soul in Janat ul Firdous.”

“In this hour of grief, I stand in solidarity with Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam Sahib and the other members of the bereaved family. May Almighty Allah grant them patience to bear the pain of this irreparable loss,” he added.(KNS)
