Srinagar, Aug 16:(KNS)  Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday expressed deep shock and grief on the demise of mother of senior journalist and poet Imdad Saqi who passed away today at her residence in Lal Bazar Srinagar.

 

In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari described the deceased as a pious lady who was very humble and hospitable in nature and would always be ready to help those in need.

 

“I express my heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family, especially Imdad Sahab. I pray to Almighty Allah to give eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved to bear this irreparable loss,” he said.

 

Besides Bukhari, Party’s senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir and Party’s Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi have extended their condolences with the bereaved family.

 

“I pray to Almighty Allah for the eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to face this difficult time,” Ghulam Hassan Mir, Party’s senior vice president said.

 

He added that Apni Party leadership stands in solidarity with the bereaved family in this difficult time of grief and sorrow.(KNS)
