All Set for Smooth Conduct of Class 10 Exams in Kashmir: DSEK

Srinagar, Nov 3 (KNS): The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) has completed all preparations to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the ongoing Class 10 examinations across the Valley.

Talking to media, Director School Education Kashmir, Naseer Ahmad Wani, said that necessary arrangements are in place at all 994 examination centres where around 95,000 students are appearing today.

He said the department’s Joint Directors, Chief Education Officers, and district-level teams are closely monitoring the process to ensure transparency and discipline throughout the examination period.

“Our Joint Director (North) is visiting Baramulla and Kupwara to inspect centres. Similar monitoring teams are active in Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Srinagar, and Budgam. I will also visit several districts, including far-flung areas, to ensure no student faces any difficulty,” Wani said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He urged all Cluster Heads to personally inspect each centre under their jurisdiction and to immediately report any shortcomings for prompt redressal.


Addressing the students, Wani said they should face the exams with confidence and calm. “You have worked hard and stayed focused. Treat this like any other exam. There is no reason to worry,” he said, expressing confidence that the efforts of students and staff would lead to a fair and successful examination process, he said.

The DSEK has emphasized collective responsibility, with officers, staff, and the community working together to ensure the examinations are conducted smoothly and without incident.

It's pertinent to mention that 95000 students to appear today in 10th Class exams across 994 examination centers.(KNS)
