Srinagar, June 26 (KNS): Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari on Thursday said that while participating in the all-party meeting called by LG Manoj Sinha, everyone asserted that the smooth and successful conduct of the Amarnath Yatra is a collective concern of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to reporters, as per the Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, he said that regarding the arrangements for the Amarnath Yatra, LG Manoj Sinha had called an all-party meeting to brief leaders about the preparations. “We also expressed our full support for the smooth and safe conduct of the Amarnath Yatra, and at the same time, we emphasized that locals should not feel excluded or face any inconvenience during the Yatra,” he said.
LG Manoj Sinha briefed in detail about the arrangements for the Amarnath Yatra, and we pray for the smooth and safe conduct of the Yatra, he said.
“The people of Jammu and Kashmir have always been welcoming of this Yatra, as it displays the hospitality and decades-old culture of the place to host the visitors and pilgrims,” he added.(KNS)
